Standard MDF cut to size

MDF (Medium Density Fibre) is a widely used sheet material within the building and joinery industry. Being free from defects, it is easily cut and shaped with both hand and machine tools to provide a surface which is easily painted or otherwise decorated.

Environmental
MDF is manufactured from wood fibres, mixed with resin and waxes which are then hot pressed to the required thickness. These wood fibres are sourced from environmentally friendly forest thinnings, recycled wood/pallets, and sawdust.

Moisture Resistant (MR) MDF cut to size

Medite MDF Moisture Resistant Sheet is a highly versatile, durable and cost-effective wood-based medium-density fibreboard.

Medite medium-density fibreboard is far smoother and more consistent than solid wood timber; it's also very easy to cut, shape and work with. To create this man-made board, wood fibres are broken down, compacted and bound together with resin to create a tough, high density wood sheeting.

Important: MEDITE MR is suitable for interior humid conditions and is manufactured in accordance with EN 622-5. Is not suitable for external applications. It must be sealed, primed and painted on all surfaces prior to installation, especially when placed next to damp plaster. Boards of this type are suitable for use in Hazard Class 1 and 2 environments of EN 335-3 provided an appropriate coating system is used.
